Jingle Bell Rock

Lyrics:
Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock
Jingle bells swing and jingle bel
ls ring
Snowing and blowing up bushels of fun
Now the jingle hop has begun.

Jingle bell (x3)
rock
Jingle bells chime in jingle bell time
Dancing and prancing in Jingle bell Square
In the frosty air.

What a bright time, its the right time
To rock the night away
Jingle bell time is a swell time
To go gliding in a one-horse sleigh.

Giddy-up jingle horse, pick up your feet
Jingle around the clock
Mix and a-mingle in the jingling feet
That's the jingle bell (x3)
rock.

Life in Victorian Times

One of the most famous stories of Victorian Times is Oliver Twist, the story of a young boy with no money and no family in the 19th century. It was written by Charles Dickens.

Lots of films have been made about Oliver Twist. This one was shot in 1933!

Queen Victoria reigned from 1937 to 1901. During that time, new inventions allowed the Victorians to develop railways and maritime transport and to build lots of factories. It was the Industrial Revolution.

During her reign, the British Empire was the largest empire in the world.

People left the country to work in big cities.

Have a look at some of the worst jobs in Victorian Times!

This is a film which shows London in 1903. It was a very busy place!
